Voyage-air Guitars are based on the concepts of master guitar designer Harvey Leach. Harvey is well-known in the custom guitar field: his inlay work has adorned such high-end guitars as the Martin Melissa, and the Martin Western Guitar (which sold for well over $100,000). Through his years of experience in building guitars, two models came to prominence: the "Orchestra Model" (OM-style) guitar and the Dreadnought guitar. These two models accounted for over 95% of Harvey Leach's work. And for good reason. Simply stated: the Harvey Leach design concepts for acoustic guitars made them louder, sweeter sounding, and more resonant than those from other builders. |

For travel, Harvey has long had a concept of a structural hinge at the heel of the neck. A hinge that would allow the guitar to fold to virtually half its size. From this concept, Harvey insisted that such a hinge would not interfere with the subtle qualitites of this concert-quality acoustic guitar. The creation of travel instruments without compromise in sound, tonalities or harmonics is the basis of all Voyage-air instruments. |
